Unless you have the time and money to devote to a 2 week maintenance schedule at the salon, you might want to reconsider and opt for natural nail care. Depending on your lifestyle, activity level and natural nail plate shape, you would have to choose between at lease three different types of products. Gel acrylic is for those clients who need flexible strength and who have nails that are normal. Traditional acrylic is for those clients who need hard thin protection and wraps are for the client who need the minimal strength and flexibility. Regardless of which product you choose, you will need to visit the salon every 2 weeks and the cost can be anywhere from 'budget' salons costs ($20.00 +) up to higher end costs ($50.00 and up). YOur first initial full set will cost anywhere from $35.00 up to #100.00 and maintenance isusually half the cost of a full set.
