OK......I was prescribed Adderall about a year ago and I have to say it has been great - I finally was and have been able to focus and stay on task BUT................
I am now wondering if what my husband is saying is true. He says I am being a total b**** all the time. I literally will go off on him about little things that used to not bother me and have become very controlling.
A girlfriend of mine said when she took Adderall she had to stop b/c she was always being b***** to her family.
So does anyone agree or disagree with me? I hate to think it is the Adderall and I plan to make an appt with my doctor to find out but just wanted to see if anyone could relate.
thanks

Sorry to tell you this, but yes, stimulants can definitely cause moodiness and irritability.

you might try lowering your dose. before kids, i took 40 mgs a day, and it made me really mean, so i lowered my dose to 30 mgs a day and things got better. now with kids, i'm back to 40 mgs a day, but i think i'm getting ready to lower my dose again! :)
also, as you are a woman, if you're taking birth control, make sure you look into that as well. some birth controls can really make you go nuts too. it's also something i've been through recently -- anyway, just another possibility.
