All you guys are so nice and helpful.
Going through the post has helped so much with info and allowed me to get a much better insite into what is ahead for my hubby and myself.
Not saying he will have all and every problem and issue but ,should one arrise i will be better equiped to help him.
You see to me knowledge is power.
I think you can handle some things better if you understand them
My hubby is not like that.
He ask no questions and just says "I dont want to know"
He relies on me to find everything out as he knows i will.
Oh well

Hi Gail, I am so glad that you feel comfortable coming to the board. It is a wonderful place...I am on two boards ..this one for four years now, as my husband was dx with rectal cancer four years ago, and for my own cancer, lymphoma, with which I was dx a year ago.

I don't like to generalize too much ;) but men tend not to want to know the details too much....at least mine is like that, so we have to do the research so we can ask the right questions. Mind you, sometimes I think I would like to know less!!
