I dont have diabetes (but have lots of symptoms).
a few weeks ag my vision rapidly deteriorated from awesome to blurry, i can see but it is very slightly short sighted. Its getting worse i dont know why it is. my opticion says its cos of my age (17) but why would it keep deteriorating?

Over here, an optician is somebody who makes or sells glasses, so I'm assuming you saw an optometrist? Other than the rapid onset of myopia, did he find anything else? Did he prescribe glasses?
I don't know enough about it to say if such a sudden deterioration is normal or not. Maybe Squatchimo or Serious Person can tell you that. There are other conditions that can cause sudden blurriness.
Perhaps you'd feel better getting a second opinion from another optometrist or a medical eye doctor.

When you say you don't have diabetes but have lots of symptoms - do you mean that your medical doctor has definitively ruled this diagnosis out? I would agree with the advice given to have an evaluation by a medical ophthalmologist doctor rather than an optician. Don't panic until you are thoroughly assessed. I have dry eyes and my vision can drastically fluctuate just because of this! Let us know what you find out if you don't mind sharing.
