View Full Version : Little road rage recently

Been having some issues with road rage recently. I'm not an agressive driver, usually, but I do sometimes react to other agressive drivers/people aggressively. It usually happens when I feel a driver and/or pedestrian is actually doing something spiteful to me or other drivers. However, I'm kind of worried that sometimes my reaction (which has always been verbal and/or using the horn so far) might put me or peope riding with me in danger.

What I would like to be able to do is just ignore other agressive drivers, but sometimes my desire to react just overcomes, and without even thinking im saying something, honking, etc.. . Just wondering if other people have any suggestions on how handle a situation with another hot head driver, but keep cool or just not react.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi Dand, is your life pretty nonstop or stressful? Are you angry about anything else in your life?

It has ups and downs. Nonstop stressful followed by relatively relaxed periods. I can't think of anything specific I'm angry about in general. I get angry about stuff sometimes, but not that much. I kind of get annoyed with
people that I feel are disrespectful, not necessarily rude, but just seem to have no ability to empathize at all with others. And for some reason, I tend to interpret some types of aggressive driving as disrespectful.

So disrespect really gets you going? Is there a story behind this?

You should only worry about what YOU are doing. Get to your destination safely. Forget other people on the road. Most of them are inattentive idiots. I laugh at their stupidity...
