All 4 of my wisdom teeth are above the gum line. Will they be able to remove these teeth without having to cut into my gums? The wisdom teeth at the top of my mouth seem like they'd be hard to reach to extract. Also, what if the roots are growing at awkward angles? Can they just break the tooth into separate pieces and then extract them? Or are they going to have to cut the gums?

I'm trying to avoid having to be put on serious painkillers.

The removal procedure is up to the oral surgeon. I have been told that wisdom teeth have curly roots, and because of this certain procedures need to be done during the extractions. I just had a wisdom tooth extracted, only took tylenol for the discomfort.
