Has anyone used night time ointments?
I am 2 weeks post op, seeing 20/25 (R) and 20/30 (L), still blurry, eyes feeling very dry. During the day I use Systane drops but I feel like I want to put them in all the time.
I have tried using Refresh PM ointment but I'm not 100% sure it's safe 2 weeks after surgery.
Anyone have any experience with this?

unless the refresh pm ointment is preservative free, it isn't safe to use. my doctor said use preservative free tears for at least two months. all doctors are different though.... what did yours say???

i tried thera-tears gel and didn't like it because it made my eyes feel drier, but i have talked to some people who just RAVE about it! might be worth trying...

Refresh PM ointment is preservative-free so it should be fine but I would check with your doctor to be sure.

i tried the gel, not a huge fan of it to be honest. but during the night i feel that i need something more than the tears - otherwise i wake up in the middle of the night feeling really painful due to dryness.
