I have been going on for a while now with varying symptoms. including
dizziness(feeling of fainting) but have not actually fainted.
sensitivity to light.
tingling around nose, left eye and left side of head.
a sudden feeling of just running out of gas(energy).
lots of belching during attacks.
pain in the abdomen .
severe attacks leave me feeling drained for hours.
I recently had a dead gall bladder removed, hoping it was the cause of it all.
but unluckily not.
My doctor has put me on meds for IBS, IBD and ulcerative colitis.
Since all of this has begun I have developed acne on my nose and back,
I have never had a problem with acne in the past.
Have also developed a strange blotch on my ankle.
Semi constant tingle in left side of face.
any ideas on alll of this?
thanks,
flyfishjunkie

Hi FlyFish--I really don't have a decent clue, but it almost sounds like you've got a couple of things going on. Not only IBS, but migraine, too or allergic response to something . Do you think you might be having a reaction to one of the meds you're taking, or did the acne and blotch happen beforehand? Have you been tested for lupus also? I would pester the doctor who gave me all of these meds or your gp and request more tests. I sympathize with you--I also had my gall bladder out 3 weeks ago and thought it wouldn help. It didn't. It's like the acid and bile is aggravating a couple of organs in there and your body is trying to fight it. I'm going to my gp tomorrow and complain that I need more testing. Hope you feel better soon & take care--Hopeto--

Hi. I have had the same symptoms. You need to get an MRI of the brain with infusion to see if you have an Acoustic Neuroma causing your dizzyness and facial symptoms. If you have one, please get back to me for more information. I hope your MRI with Infusion shows nothing! John

The acne started at the onset of symtoms, before I actually started to recieve the medications. I have a MRI scheduled for 2 weeks. They are also giving me a 30 day heart monitor (whatever that is for).
My sister had a tumor removed from her head about 7 years ago.
doesn't run in the genes i hope.

I forgot to mention associated with my stomach , intestinal problem i have develope what my wife refers to as sick breath.. Because it stinks more when my stomach area is upset.

Thanks for the replies.
