your body will put on weight because atm its going into starvation mood..[removed]..people who loss weight by not eating enough do often put it back on as when they do start eating a more normal diet there bodies snatch whatever food it can and stores it as it doesnt know when its next normal meal will be (starving)...you dont want to get into this cycle thats how it started for me cutting down less and less and now im restrictive (ano) badly bulimic

deleted

all because i let this obsession get control way back when i was at your stage and didnt listen to the healthy advice...you will feel so much better for eating properly [removed] :) hope this helped!

Hello,

Are you seeing a doctor and therapist? If not, Imho you need to.

The binge-eating is because your body is starving, and when you do eat, the binge impulse takes over in an effort to save your life, literally. I don't know if you need to lose weight for health reasons (overweight), but from your statement [removed], it doesn't sound like it.

It's really important that you get treatment now. Please do.

Read the sticky post and do not post details of your disordered behavior.

Please discuss weight issues with a nutritionist. This Board is not for discussing calories or how to lose weight.

Hey there,

you know, that was maybe my worst fear during my acute phase of anorexia as I now call it, when my weight had dropped pretty low in a short amount of time. I read so much about how diets slow down your metabolism and all that, and that worried me SO MUCH.

Maybe it makes you feel better if I tell you I am still pretty thin now and I don't feel I have a slow metabolism at all?
I think the body also re-adapts itself.

The important thing is that you break out if the starve-binge cycle. That is not healthy. Try to get a good, grateful (food is precious), positive attitude about eating. Try to see food as good (needed energy! That's the way our bodies are built! Plus it can taste real good;) ), not as bad ("calories").

I really wish you well.

Kathrin
