 I just had two upper teeth extracted and they slapped my flipper in. It feels like it needs to go up further into the roof of my mouth. I can dislodge it with my tongue and it is creaking between my teeth because it is resting and completely covering my healthy teeth (back side of course) with just a very small margin of my tooth uncovered. If the pink came down any further I would be biting on it! The guy who extracted the teeth looked at the flipper and said oh nice job but when I looked in the mirror I about passed out. The front tooth looks nothing like my other tooth next to it, and it is also hanging down lower than my other front tooth. The prostho took my molds when I still had my bridge in so there is no excuse as far as I am concerned. I don't evne know if I want to go back to him to "fix" it, he's supposedly the best in town and this flipper cost me $600. I'm not happy. Surprisingly I'm not bitching too much about how it feels-yet-I suppose that will take a while, but it feels too tight across and too loose up and down..oh joy...can anyone tell me what "normal" is for a flipper???

If they took impressions while you still the teeth in, they should have been able to match the false teeth with what you had before. The position of them should have been very close. The tooth should not be hanging down.
As for the exact fit of the flipper, that probably needs some adjustments because it was by guesswork since the impression had teeth. There are things the dentist can do to make it more comfortable and things that your mouth will just have to learn. It should not make noises either.

Go back and explain and show the dentist.
