I saw a commercial for a medicine developed for controlling DNP. I have never heard of this sympton. But I do have a recurring flare up in my finger that feels like an electric shock. I have never been able to explain it. Has anyone experienced diabetic nerve pain? I'm curious what your's feels like and how often it occurs.

I have it in my feet and it feels like a constant burning pins & needles sensation. Also, the balls of my feet feel swollen but they don't look like they are. I've never heard of it in the fingers but that doesn't mean it dosn't happen. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.:(
