I had my entire left portion of my teeth removed today, because of previous dental errors of my previous dentist and they were beyond repair. The thing is, after 6 hours now, I am still bleeding. Is this normal? Because other places around the internet say 45 minutes is the longest it should bleed. I can't call the dentist... as they're closed now.. So is this normal at all?

Try wetting a tea bag and place it over the areas that are bleeding. This is recommended by oral surgeons if the bleeding does not stop. Does the dentist have an answering service where he can be reached? You might try calling the office number and see. How badly is it bleeding? If only slightly it may not be a problem. Try not to spit - don't want to dislodge the clots. Don't take aspirin. Hope you feel better soon.

It's not a gushing blood it's more like just seeping out a little =\

Keeping gauze in for like 30 minutes and bring it out covered in blood
