Hi all. New here.Been BP for long time. Now 45 years old. Worse then ever.
Take Meds. Helps. Feel good at the moment. Anyone try for SSD? Social Security Disability. For BP Manic. I'm filling out the paper work to try and
get on it. My life has been truly F-up by this condition. Sometimes you just can't take it anymore. I can see why people take the bridge because of this.

Any thoughts on SSD would be appriciated.

Hi, I'm on ssi from schizoaffective disorder (with bipolar symptoms) and I got disability no problem. It is easiest to get when your doctors agree that you should be on it.

It has certainly helped me. Even though I have improved tremendously, I have a bad week every once in a while, so the extra income really helps. I have also taken advantage of the free health care, which has paid for doc visits and meds.

If they deny you, keep trying. Best of luck.
