Hey I’m looking for some answers
my girlfriend she is hiv+
I know the cd4 + - 400 and the viral = -50 and she is having follow up in the hospital And having treatment
And we love each others, we would like to stay together, but I’m worried
About having sex?
Need some advises

You can still have sex with your girlfriend if you use a condom.. You can still give her oral sex and she can give you oral sex as long as you do not have any sores, cuts, or abrasions in your mouth. You must be VERY careful, but the risk is low as long as you are protected. Given the fact that her viral load is low makes her chances of passing the virus to you that much smaller. Having said all this, while the chances are very low, there is still a very small risk of you contracting the virus if your condom breaks, etc. You must decide if the risk is worth it to you. However, there are many couples out there with one HIV positive partner and one negative who have been together for many years and where the negative partner remained that way.. Good luck.

I know A Gay couple that have been together 9 years with one of them hiv+, they deal with it together and are very safe.
