I had a white filling placed 3-4 days ago. When I eat reg food It doesnt hurt but if i have something hard I try to chew on the other side.. but I acidently chewed on something hard on the tooth that was filled, Some spots were sore! like a nerve pain that last few sec. Is this normal after 3-4 days? I had a silver filling b4 that. I thought it would be sore only in that area he had to drill but pain came from the edge of the tooth where the filling ends.
Any info would be helpful thank you:)

Hey :)

I'd go back to your dentist asap. The nerve pain you're getting sounds as if the new filling is in close (almost too close) to your tooth root. They'll do an xray and hopefully it won't show anything - but if it is too close to the root, they may have to do it again.
