Bugsgal Sponsor rhody 07-04-2002, 12:21 AM I linked my fibromyalgia symptoms to my mercury-silver dental amalgams, so what I tell you may or may not help. But I thought that I would add it in, in case that it might. Occasionally, if I overdo the exercise, the muscle soreness will return. I start taking my herbal teas again, and on top of my normal healthy diet I consume liquid vegetable drinks. These drinks usually are composed of brocolli and spinach. These green drinks really taste like "medicine". Yuck! But they help me. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif I'm probably one of the few people that have succeeded this way, through nutrition, exercise, and removal of toxins. You or anyone else might want to spend sometime learning about it. One of the first herbs that helped my fibromyalgia muscle pains was Ginseng tea. When I tried to run almost 20 years ago, my leg bones would ache too like they were bruised (only at that time in my life). The Ginseng tea was marvelous! Various reports have come out, saying that one should not mix herbs with conventional drugs without telling your doctor. When I "go natural" with nutritious diet and herbs, I don't mix it with over-the-counter or prescription drugs. That has been a safe approach for me. bugsgal 07-04-2002, 09:26 AM Thanks Rhody, I will talk to my Dr. on Tuesay and see what he says. As it is....I have tried stopping pres and otc drugs before and tried Shakley products...but to no avail. I thank you for your input. I have also been drinking unsweetened cherry juice which one of my natural alternative med. Dr said has helped others. I'm still waiting to feel some relief. it has been 3 months now. I appreciate your taking time to answer. Bless you |
