Hi,
My doctor just prescribed Metformin for me because my numbers are high. I test 1 hr after i eat and it's between 150 and 190. 2 hrs after i eat its usually down between 110 and 120. If i don't eat it drops to 80 especially in the mornings after i eat eggs then around lunch the readings are usually below 100. My question is, will the medication drop my readings too low in the mornings? If it's already low to begin with, why would i take meds to drop it lower? My fasting numbers in the mornings are around 115.
Thanks,
Socs :)
