I think my girlfriend has anorexia she is 19 5foot 5 [removed]. She is a dancer and a tiny skinny thing too skinny yet every time i will make her eat she throws it up but denies it. Every time she will look in the mirror pinching herself saying to herself you fat ugly cow crying. I never see her eat and she collapses at least 3 times a week. What can i do i need to help her she doesn't stop crying she really belives she is fat and it kills her inside i can't stand to watch her hurting like this we met 2 and a half years ago and you would never see her cry she has changed so much i just want my happy girlfriend back. Please help i'm lost at what to do.

sounds like your girlfriend is definately struggling with an eating disorder. If she is purging and collapsing which is serious, she needs to seek help. Contacting a nutritionist, an MD, or a therapist would all be good starting places. It sounds like she might need to undergo testing to rule out any medical complications that can arise when battling an ed. Hope this helps.

I know it will be hard, but you need to let her family and parents know what is going on. She needs treatment, or she could die. I am so sorry that you and she is going through this, but I cannot beat around the bush with you. She may be upset with you at first, but you must do whatever it takes to get her in an in-patient treatment facility that deals with anorexia, bulimia, and body dysmorphic disorder. You, her family, and friends need to stage an intervention to save her life. You can find a counselor to help facilitate the intervention.
You cannot help her with this. You can be supportive and find resources for her, but this is life threatening and she needs professionals and treatment immediately. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. This is her life. Help her keep it, and get it back. God bless.
