I had a unprotected relationship with a man for about 6 weeks last jan and feb 2006, ihad an hiv test in middle of may 2006 which came back negative, I have been under immense stress for 5 years, runnin own business, bringing up child on my own etc etc, this year my body is exhausted i haven't been un well since february this year. in march had a virus similar to mengitis is how the doctor described it and terrible knots and stiffness of neck and pain in occiput. I have had 6 blood tests this year and all came back normal, but still have terrible stiffness in my neck and pain in my head, have also had galactorrea which was the first symptom since january, had a cat scan which was negative. I am terribly worried because i tire very easily and am not as strong as i was, am terribly anxious about this unprotected relationship i had. If i had hiv would all these blood tests shown up something by now? please help.

P.s i have had all these blood tests this year but do not know if any were specifically looking for hiv, everything was normal white blood count etc although i have been feeling exhausted.

a normal blood screening will not test for hiv
it has to be asked for on its own.
if you had a hiv test that came back neg then thats most likely what your status is.
don't go by your symptoms towards hiv as everyone reacts differently from it.
