Just wondering if anyone knows if severe shaking is associated with neuropathy?
My dad has neuropathy really bad and he has episodes of shaking frequently.especially when he goes to lift his leg into a car. Most times someone has to pick his leg up for him.

Thank you for any help in this.

I have neuropothy also and since it does affect the muscle function, trying to use the affected muscle will often result in shaking. The muscle feels weak and therefore things like trying to lift a leg against gravity can be very taxing.

I have had pn about 25 years and started shaking about two years ago.
Mostly my hands. I hope it is the result of pn and not some other
bad disease. old woondog
