View Full Version : Question about fibro

I have asked this once before and did not get a response. I hate to be a bother, but I'm wondering if anyone has dealt with fibro during pregnancy. Did the symptoms get worse or temporarily disappear. I've heard such horror stories from some people about how bad it was while they were pregnant and others said that they had never felt better while pregnant, but after the baby was born it was very much worse than usual. I am trying to get pregnant. I don't care how bad the pain may get because I want a child so badly. I'm just wondering how it is for the majority. Thanks for any responses.

This isn't much of a response, but.. I think it is different for everyone. It depends on how bad you have it now. I know that I must have had FM for almost all my life, but it didn't get noticablly worse until my daughter was a 1 1/2 (just "diagnosed" on 8/9/02) I didn't notice a difference while pregnant. I just chalked up the pains from being pregnant. I had an uncomplicated pregnancy. I think it also depends on if you are still on meds or even on meds. HOpe this helps a bit
