My mother has had FM for about 20 years. She has all of the major problems such as the chronic fatigue and muscle pain. Just yesterday, she had to be put in the hospital for asthmatic-bronchitis and now they believe that she could have fluid around her heart and lungs. She had an echo done this morning. He potassium levels are also very low. Are these all problematic from the FM, or could it be something completely different? Any solid answers would be appreciated!

The fluid around her heart and lungs could be caused by a number of things, but it's definitely not caused by Fibromyalgia. More likely that her asthma/bronchitis may have caused it.
