Has anyone had these issues....trouble with food? I find some foods I ate all my life I now cannot tolerate, meaning , they make me sick or very gassy or achy. Meds 's, I find simple meds I used to take also make me sick, achy all over, stiff muscles, even one simple as Aleve that I've used on & off for years. Does anyone ever have constant gas to the point it effects their entire torso as if you have internal injuries? I've eliminated all foods that may be the culprit to no avail, it doesn't matter what I do its always ther, worse some days, bad enough that the gas pushes on organs and nerves and casuses hot burny nerve oain, I'm miserable!!! Have had every test in the book, comes back "fine" but I'm not fine. Does anyone have trouble taking acidophilus? It makes me worse not better. Seems since in meno. 10 yrs, everything works against me, not for me...anyone else?? Would like to take soy, some soy helps in meno. but again, makes me bloat & feel worse, anyone else?? Some days I get hit out of the blue with all sorts of things, like, headaches, muscle stiffness, doopy, blurry eyes, heavy feeling all over, then it subsides and comes back in a week. I'm 57, some people go thru meno. and done in a couple years, can this go on indefinatly? Thanks to all.

It's been 7 years of Peri and now 3 years Post-meno for me...just recently the gas has subsided...it started about a year ago for me (Notice that is AFTER 2 years of POST-menopause!) I thought I was thru with almost all the 35 symptoms and then I got the gas problem...OMG, I thought I was pregnant sometimes with the belly! I ate a LOT of crackers or pretzels for meals...the only thing that helped me...NOW, I heard on another menopause board that prego pops of all things helps. Hope you are feeling better today!

Have you considered the possibility that you may be gluten intolerant and eliminated all wheat from your diet?
