I'm trying to figure out some natural approaches to OCD instead of the medication route, although believe me, there have been days I've considered medication! I think we all just want to feel normal, if truth be known! Anyway, I've read that bananas and turkey can increase serotonin. I've also recently read where Spirulina and Flaxseed oil can help OCD. Anyone else heard this or tried this? I probably need to cut back on my caffeine in-take again as well. I've noticed that anything past one cup of regular coffee in the mornings seems to not only make my OCD a little bit worse, but triggers a little bit of anxiety attacks in me. Normally, I don't have a lot of anxiety per say, it's just the OCD in my case is more annoying than anything else.

My psychologist has told me to cut down on caffeine as apparently it is not good for people with anxiety problems..
Also i would think exercise would help as well?

Yeah, I was walking on the treadmill every night and it did seem to help me to relax better. My massage therapist also told me that light to medium pressure massage also releases serotonin.
