A close family member of mine told me today that he wishes I would stop taking my meds. He said I'm "not the same" on them. Has anyone else had a similiar comment from someone close?

My boyfriend just asked me to stop taking mine as well... He doesn't like seeing me sick and since i'm med sensitive I get sick a lot from the side effects. We had a long talk about this last night and honestly I don't know what I'm going to do....

there are many meds to choose from. you dont have to limit yourself to one med then get sick and say "to heck with it". something is always better than nothing.

This would be my 5th try at a "new" med...

5 is nothing. I've tried at least 14 different psych meds at one point or another and I'm only 23. It takes patience.

Sorry, I'm actually not trying to sound discouraging. I know it will happen for you but you just have to be patient until you find the right med. It is frustrating I know...hang in there.
