I'm wondering if anyone can offer me any advice/insight about the Home Support field. My friends have been encouraging me to take this program saying that I would be so good at it as well as it being the best thing I could do for myself. But I am really struggling with the "not so pleasant" aspects of the job as I have a real phobia about bodily fluids ! I am wondering if this is something you just get used to real fast or face the fact that some people are cut out for this type of work and some aren't? I also have a temporary disability regarding my foot and the fact that I'm still not healed from foot surgery that I had nearly 8 months ago. I am somewhat worried that this will impede my abilities with the practicum portion of the program as the old foot really does bother me after I've been on it for awhile. I have to make a decision very soon in order to get into the program this year, so if there is anyone out there that could offer their perspective, it would be so much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
