Hi, I am a 75 year old woman who had repair of a rectocele and entercele on June 20. I had some bleeding 3 weeks post op and saw the surgeon who told me that I had pulled out a stitch. The bleeding stopped and never returned. I have seen the surgeon ( chief of the urogyn service at a BIG teaching hospital) several times since and all has been well until the day before yesterday! I now have pelvic pain on the right buttock near the rectum. I called the office and spoke to the nurse practioner who I have seen often and was told that they see "this" quite often and to use moist heat and motrin. I should call them if it gets worse and they will see me right away otherwise wait until next week and see them then. I have no fever or other symptoms but I wish I knew what it is. If I touch it there is a particular spot that really HURTS!!! Anybody else had anything like this?:confused:
