I've had wonderful military insurance all my life, and this will soon end. I've had type 1 for 14 years, and am not sure what options I will have once my insurance ends. I talked to DHR and my caseworker suggested I apply for disability...lol, I'm sure that would work out GREAT! Just kidding...but I'm worried about my options. Any thoughts would be wonderful!

I'm curious as to why your caseworker would suggest you apply for disability? Do you have serious complications from diabetes?

NO!!! I have no complications at all thus far! I was quite shocked when the caseworker suggested disability! I don't 'feel' disabled AT ALL.
