Hi everyone,
I haven't posted here in a long time, but I am still suffering. The upset tummy, hot flashes, and aching in neck have been ongoing. Also, for quite a while now I have have hair loss. This morning I noticed a very sore spot on my scalp. I've had this a few times before too. Has anyone noticed hair loss and sore places on your scalp? For a few hours on Thursday, I actually felt like I was back in the land of the living, but yesterday the suffering was back. I keep wondering how long this is going to go on...

Hi Viktik,
I have sore scaley spots on my scalp also. Actually I just noticed this morning a new one, that almost feels like a bump. I've been to a Dermatologist for this, and she say's it foliculitis (sp?). I guess that's something like an ingrown hair follicle. Anyway, it really hurts at times. She said to use T-gel shampoo, but that really strips the color from my hair, so I found Jason's organic scalp balancing shampoo at the health food store. It cost's less than the T-gel and is much gentler.
I ran out, and now I'm having the issue again, so that figures. I don't know if it's menopause related, but I didn't seem to get this until I turned about 46 - along with adult acne also. I'm 49 now, and still getting periods - although irregular.

I am SO glad that I found this post! I have been having the sore spots on my head lately, along with every other symptom you mentioned. This journey has been a rough one, and I pray to GOD that it gets better soon. Thanks for sharing your symptoms ~ makes me feel a LITTLE more normal!!
