Hi there,I wonder if anyone has come accross something similar or knows the answer to our problem.
My wife accused me of having an affair last year. She then started getting scared of me because she says I am trying to kill her at night and make it look like suicide.
She spent a year on medication which seem to help a bit,but 5 weeks ago the doctor took her of the medicine.
3 weeks ago my wife left me again claiming she is to scared to live with me,and she can not forget all these things that suppose to have happened.
To her it is all real, she is living a nightmare.
Last week I took a lie-detection test which came back negative, she does not accept this result and says I must have cheated.
Our life has changed quite a bit before this happened,we build a new house, the children have moved out all changes that improved our quality of life.
Then all this starts happening.
I never been unfaithfull to my wife and I love her dearly, and I know she loves me too.
We have been married for 24 years and always enjoyed each other.
I just hope someone outhere experienced this sort of thing and can give us some clues and guidelines on how to deal with this sort of thing.
Someone who can reassure us things will come right in the end.
Please if you read this and don't have an answer please pray for us.

Hi....sorry that you are having to go through all of this. It is quite obvious how much you love your wife. Did something traumatic happen just before your wife started with all of this??? Some loss of some sort such as a death of a loved one, sudden loss of a job anything like that??

Nobody can diagnose what exactly is going on with your wife here. She should go to a board certified psychiatrist to figure this all out. It does seem as if she is quite delusional in her thinking and you did say that the meds helped out. Why did the doctor take her off of them?? And what meds was she on????

It sounds as if your wife does need medication especially since her symptoms seem to have worsened since coming off the meds.

Of course I will keep you and your wife in my prayers. I think that it would be wise to bring her back to the doctor so that he/she can help figure this out with you.

Please keep us posted and don't give up....alot of these things are treatable...my daughter has Bipolar and with the proper meds she is so much better.

Good luck with everything ~ Goody:angel:

Thank you for your kind words.I love my wife very much indeed she was taking Epilim and Haloperidol but she did not like taking them.
She has become totally emotionless.
We are trying to get a booking with a psychiatrist and hopefully he will be able to convince her that hallucinations and dellusions are a real thing.
Going on this website makes me realize how much suffering is out there I hope all of us find a solution to our perils.
Thank you for your prayers and I hope in the near future I can post a note saying it's all good.
Thank you again for your kind words and all my best wishes to you and your daughter.
