anyone notice that on their antipsychotic meds that their dreams are very vivid and OFTEN? i dream every night. its like reality for me...haha...except last nights. it weird. and it started when i started taking abilify 20 mg.

I don't know about antipsychotics causing problems(I'm on geodon), but my sleeping pills give me nightmares. I never sleep without having nightmares.

My husband takes abilify and has very vivid dreams! Most every night and he talks a lot in his sleep. He is on several meds and I can not say for sure it is the abilify. He has had the disorder for 10 yrs and has had the dreams for just about that long.

About 4 years ago, I started taking anti-depressants and thats what triggered the dreams. Since then, they haven't gone away and have nearly ruined my life. I mostly can't remember if the events in my dreams really happened, so I get confused easily. I have horribly gory dreams, and can feel pain during them (not fun at all). They make exhausted, and I feel far from rested when I wake up in the morning. I've been on 18 medications in four years, and have suffered from these dreams through all of them.
