Well my Husband had Cirrhosis for about 1 year and he died on Sept.11,2007. They wanted to do TIPS Procedure and he refused b/c that was just a stopgap and wouldn't cure him but maybe give him a few more months,since he was in the advanced stage anyway. He never drank in his life and they couldn't find any other reason for him to deveope it. I posted on here a while back about all his problems.
