Anyone getting neck and back pain/stiffness during the week of your cycle. I feel like I have the flu but know that I don't. This has happened before to me. I also get headaches with the neck and back pain and stiffness. I feel terrible!!!!! T. :(

Roland

I seem to have constant back pain and my stiff aching neck usually turns into a migraine, I asked my husband to rub the top of my shoulder the other day because it felt so tense and stiff then the ache rose up the back of my head and I felt myself starting to panic.

There is not a day goes by without I moan about something....anxiety seems to always be there but I often have a new ache or pain too.

A part of my back tooth fell out the other day and although I never liked the dentist, I always managed to attend........since this menopause has kicked in I can't even imagine laying in a dentist chair....I have turned into such a whimp.

Debtone,
Don't feel bad! I also constantly complain about every ache and pain. I panic over every new "symptom" I get. The anxiety seems to never go away. You would think that I would be used to it by now and get over it. The thought of going to a dentist sends me into a panic attack. Just can't stand anything anymore either. Wish there was a support group for women like us. (Besides the message boards) It would be nice to talk face to face with other women that are having similar issues. Maybe then I wouldn't feel so crazy all the time! Thanks for responding to my post. I thought that I was the only one with this issue. Tee.

Wow! I just read this and I have this. I didn't write about it because I always feel like I am complaining. I have such a stiff neck and back discomfort. I have been on Motrin and the heating pad. This is my second bout with this but I am going to document this to see if there is a pattern. Have you found anything to help. Sleeping with this discomfort is such a problem. What have you heard about some of these new pillows that are on the market? Marla

Mine lasts as long as my cycle does. I usually have a headache with it. Nothing I take seems to help me. I haven't tried any special pillows. Tee.

I have been feeling the same way. I am going to the doctor today. I can't take this anymore. No sleep, anxiety, neck and back pain. I feel like I am going to jump out of my skin. He has got to give me something to help, because I cannot keep going through this. It is nice to know that I am not the only one out there feeling this way.
