I feel bad about not responding to you all. I've been a part of this board for a few years now and you all are a part of my life every day. I've been reading your messages and I can relate to most of them having been a caregiver myself.

I have a lot of things going on in my life now that is taking away from my being here for you. I have been reading your posts and my heart truely goes out to each and every one of you who are in the midst of this horrible disease.

I've been dealing with the death of my brother (not concidered suicide now but possibly murder pending toxicology results). In the midst of this, my family has behaved worse than a hungry pack of wolves. No family member was there to help with arrangements or even give their condolences. One of my sisters arranged for the payment for the funeral which I am helping her with. She wasn't able to be here because of her own bad health but we spent many hours on the phone. She even listened to the funeral service on the phone.

I want you all to know that although I won't be on this board often for the time being, you're all in my thoughts and prayers. I'll be checking in when I can.

Love, Barb

Know my heart goes out to you Barb. It is understandable that you have much to deal with right now and you need time for your self, your grief, and to deal with family matters. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love, Deb

Apologies not needed ... we understand

We're here when your ready sunshine, you just do what you have to do and know that you've got a lot of invisible people praying for you.

As for the feuding family *sigh* .. yeah .. well, we know what dementia does, let alone a crisis like your brothers to families, so let them do their own thing and sit back knowing your doing the RIGHT thing.

Love & Hugs my friend
