Hi everyone. I have been watching this message board but not saying much. It is good to have some place in which we can discuss our problems since we have much in common in various degrees. I was having a great deal of fibro fog and looking for something to help with that. I was on Evista but went off of it for about 6 months because I needed a mamogram and the Evista made my breasts tender. With FM I did not want the extra pain the mamogram causes. I forgot to get back on it until I returned to the doctor several weeks ago and we discovered I wasn't taking it. Evista is for women who have been in menopause for 5 years. My doctor had to remind me that Evista prevents osteoporosis as well as will build bone mass. I am on 60 mg tabs, one per day again. By the third day my fibro fog lifted. I take B12 once a day and one magnesium/calcium supplement. I feel so much better! As for the GERD (acid reflux disease) Acifex 20 mg. once a day, (qd) and it works so well. I wait 2 hrs after morning meds before I take the Acifex. I thought this might help some of you who have the same problems. Also I am keeping an eye on the colostrum that some of you are taking and am debating on taking that or the Naltrexone. Batman 777, if you or anyone else is on Naltrexone I would like to hear how you are doing on it. I am making another post about that. Happy New Year everyone! Dawnsmist
