I've always developed pimples on my scalp. I'd find them when I was shampooing and hear the little 'pop'. They generally flair up around my time of the month when my face does the same.

However, now the zits are getting bigger and showing up even with it isn't my TOM. Also, after they pop, they form bloody tops that itch like crazy. Another associated problem is terrible dandruff.

I've tried head and shoulders, and that helps with the dandruff, but not with the zits.

Any thoughts? It isn't really a huge deal, mostly cosmetic, so I don't want to spend money on seeing a derm (my insurance won't cover it).
