I have had colonics for the past two years and found that my energy was much better after it. Although in your case you seriously need to look at your diet. Walking often works and plenty of water.

I had colon hydrotherapy for about 8 months a few years back. It was the best thing I ever did for my IBS. I highly recommend you look into clinics in your area. Make sure you find one that is licensed and professional. If you get a referral from your PCP, you might be able to have the treatments covered through insurance.

Colon hydrotherapy is a safer and more natural way to treat chronic constipation. Laxatives such as dulcolax, senokot, correctol, etc., work by artifically overstimulating the bowel. Over time, the colon loses it's muscle tone because it's not doing it own work but rather allowing the laxative to work in it's place. Colonics work by encouraging peristalsis naturally, through the gentle flow of water until the bowel is coaxed into doing what it's supposed to do. Colonics can actually help the colon "remember" how it's supposed to function.

They are not a cure but I can attest that I never felt better than when I was having these treatments.
