Ok, here is the story, my doctor is telling me that my gallbladder isn't contracting as much as it should during a HIDA scan. My doctor told me that a normal gallbladder should contract or squeeze from what I remember, however, mine didn't do that on the HIDA scan.

I am curious if this is something that is common in bulimics. For the past five years I have been a bulimic male. I started getting this pain in my body after a terriable weekend of over eating and binging and purging. I think on average I binged and burged 3 to 4 times a day and I followed the night by drinking some liquir.

I noticed the pain would start up after eating real fatty meals like Carls Jr.

I have not had naseau, fever, or weight loss. I have though gained 30 pounds in ten months. I have had blood tests that show everything is normal and healthy.

I am so frustrated at my eating disorder, I have stoped bulimia since the pain started and I changed my diet, less fat, and it seems to of paid off. But still, I have hurt my body from my bulimia I guess.

But I am curious if my condition is normal in bulimics?

Gallbladder disease is more common among bulimics. Your body still processes some of the food, or at least reacts to the food you've given it, so by binging overtaxes your liver and gall bladder.
