Hi everyone. I am new to this board, or any board for that matter.

I am pregnant and have fibromyalgia. Amongst a million other worries, I am concerned about how I will carry my baby, since I cannot have anything on my neck, shoulders, or in my arms for very long. Does anyone have advice on carriers that only go around the torso and back?

Also, I am seeking a fibro support group in Brooklyn, NY.

Any advice about how to deal with pregnancy/ motherhood and this incessant pain would be welcome and appreciated.

Hello! I have Lupus and Fibro...I can only tell you I have 2 beautiful kids and survived through it all! I know you will too!! I just did it!! I dont know how, except alot of praying and keeping my mind off the pain!! I dont know exactly what to say except dont give up and dont worry!! I know your gonna do fine!! It will be in your "motherly instinct" to pick that baby up and it will be hard, but it will be ok!! I know, I have 2 beautiful kids and it was worth everything in the end!! Just keep your head up and keep on going!!! good luck!!
