I am 20 & have severe Fibro. I also have OI (Orthostatic Intolerance), NMH (Neuro/ Neurally Mediated Hypotension), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, CFIDS & MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities). Many people do not realize that they have OI as well. It usually accompanies CFS. If you are dizzy or get "fibrofog," it probably is the case.
The latest info regarding conditions that affect Fibro & CFS. They are backed by the Center for CFS at John's Hopkins University. Doctors that support this information are Dr. David S. Bell (NY) and Dr. Peter Rowe (JHU). It is the medical explanation for *one* condition commonly accompanying CFS. Most of Dr Rowe & Dr Shor's patients come to them completely homebound, disabled & in wheelchairs. These Dr's have commendable success and are the most highly respected experts in this field. Two others are Dr. Daniel Clauw who worked at Georgetown University, and Starnyl who wrote the definitive breakthrough book on Myofascial Pain Syndrome. The US Gov. funded the NIH in conjunction w/ Georgetown to do these studies, but now Dr. Clauw is in Michigan.
