Hello! I seem to have all the regular symptoms but also have excessive bowel sounds especially in the mornings before I get up. Anybody else have this? I have noticed it a lot in the last couple of months. I am going through a divorce, money problems and had my license suspended, so am under a lot of stress. I have had 2 abdominal ultrasounds in the last few years, last one a year ago, with nothing found. They did say I had a lot of trapped gas at my last one though.

Thanks,
Mike.

You know, my gut reminds me of my car. My car can be screeching up a storm every time I drive, but as soon as I pull into the mechanic, it's as quiet as a mouse. Same with my tummy. It never fails that when I go to the GI doc, my belly doesn't make a peep. As soon as I leave his office and get into the elevator, it sounds like someone is running chainsaws in my abdomen.

To answer your question, I have tremendous bowel noises. Sometimes it sounds like howling, grinding, popping, wheezing, crying, sawing, exploding - basically a heavy metal band in my bowels.

I too have the trapped gas. Once the viscous stuff starts breaking up and moving around, the noises start. Also, when I press on my right side, I can hear a whooshing sound, like water rushing through pipes. Yea, it's really attractive!
