Well i had a one time unprotected sex incident with a girl, im a man. I ejaculated outside her. I took a test at 8 weeks and it came up negative. How accurate would that test have been and what do you think my outcome will be? By the way my results were non-reactive . I went to the state health clinic. What type of tests would they run?

Could someone on here who is hiv positive tell me about what they think i will continue to test? I'm a little disapointed without any replies yet.

the tests are very accurate... at 12 weeks they are considered conclusive
at 8 weeks with a neg result you should be fine.they most likely will run the elisa test on you and if they get a pos or fuzzy reading they then will follow up with a western blot test. my thought is you will be neg and come out of this fine. good luck
