I've been taking Lexapro for my anxiety for about 2 years. Thursday my Doc switched me to another SSRI. Today my hands went numb, then my arms, my chest tightened up and went numb, I thought I was having a heart attack. I called 911 they came out and checked me. Vital signs were normal. I think switching to different SSRIs messed me up for a few days. Doc said I wouldnt feel to good for about a week but didnt tell me it would give me a dam anxiety attack. I hadnt had one like this ever and this is my first one in along time.

Which med did they switch you to?

Each time you switch to a new med it can be like starting all over for some people. So if you are feeling better you may want to give it time - just like the lexapro.

Why did you come off lexapro?

I was having head cloudyness and weird head symptoms. Doc thought it could be the Lexapro so he switched me to Cymbalta

and it happened yesterday not today

I had the cloudiness with Lexapro also.

havent been on it but for like 4 days so he said give it a week..but today i dont feel to bad..but yesterday sucked
