Hi,
My name is Dustin and I am 18 and have severe sinus problems. I love being outside and try to be very active. I absolutely LOVE the outdoors!! I have had sinus prob;ems since I was about 8 and I am tired of it. I have tried all the nasal sprays, pills, shots ect... and its got to the point that I can't hardly breath and its keeping me inside and up ALL night because I can't breath good enough to fall asleep comfortable. I just want to be able to breath and be normal! What can I do to fix my problem I am up for any suggestions. I would prefer surgey if anyone knows anything that I can get...its that bad. I can't function as a normal persan anymore all because of my bad sinus problem and I am absolutely fed up with it, and not being able to sleep is driving me crazy. Please somebody help me!!!

If you have tried the complete medication and allergy treatment route.. you can go to an ENT and most likely get some help.

They will try the least invasive first.. or should.
1) Bilateral Turboplasty.. and any necessary structural fixes like a pollump removal or septoplasty if needed.
2) Humm.. depends on the ENT and how many infections you get a year. Six- nine sinus/ear/tonsillitus infections a year will earn you a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy with sinus window insertion and additional membrane reduction.
3) No tonsillitis, just sinus and ear infections - membrane reduction and window insertion.
4) Tonsilliths or stones may warrent a tonsillectomy as well.

If you feel surgery is your last resort, you need to go to an ENT.

Sincerely,
MG
