I was diagnosed with ET a few years ago i am now 28yrs and currently pregnant with my 1st child. Diagnosis was based on a bone marrow biopsy when i had a count of 1.2 million. However not one word has been mentioned about JAK by any of my drs.

Can anyone please tell me more about this JAK mutation...how is this diagnosed what difference does it make if one is pos or neg? Are there any differences in treatment?

BTW i live on a tiny island where things are kind of limited.........there s only one heamo here so it s not like i have many options.
