What is a good normal resting B.S.? Mine is always about 107. Is that high? I'm supposed to check my B.S. every other morning and it used to be around 107. The highest I had was 114. Recently it's appeared to be high in the morning 148. I've been trying really hard to follow my diet too. My doctor didn't ever tell me what number was high and what wasn't. She just told me I had diabetes and that I needed to check my B.S. every other morning and see her in October. I'm at a loss. :)

A normal fasting bs is about 65-100. 107 is in the pre-diabetes category, but only if it's lab drawn. Home meters have too much of a margin of error to count cause a 107 could easily really be under 100.
