My wife is bipolar acting. Wild mound swings, extended depression, attitudes that the world is against her, and violent outbreaks. My son who is five and I are seriously afraid of her. I have contacted churches, counselors, the court and even the police for advise. Basically, the response was to take your son and leave. Now, while she is bipolar--she's very smart and a great actress. That is, she can cover up her illness for a short time to have people think that she's normal. The point, is that my son and I are trapped. Can't get serious assistance or advice, my job and health are suffering, and my son is now beginning to act out in school and I feel helpless. I am basically living from day to day caring and protecting my son while covering up my wife's illness from friends, neighbors and associates. Help!
