Ccdarling30 09-24-2007, 11:19 PM Stay away from foods that thicken your blood like salt, mayo, and tomatoes (increase red cell production). Garlic thins your blood and may help, but ask a doctor since you are pregnant. Also I have found cod liver oil supplements very helpful. Cod liver oil stabilizes all bone marrow cell production. Hope this is helpful. Goodluck and best wishes on the little one.:) Lotus_Blossom 09-24-2007, 11:51 PM Ccdarling30, I want to stress I've not been diagnosed with PV nor am I Pregnant.I am simply an individual worried out of her mind about previous Labs.I use Celtic Sea Salt and Veginnaise. Are they no no's?I also enjoy fresh Tomatoes and eat fresh Garlic.I wondered what Foods were off limits and the effects PV has with Conceiving and Pregnancy.
