View Full Version : Habba Syndrome after Cholecystectomy?

I am a 63 year old female who had my gall bladder removed 37 years ago due to gallstones and severe pain. I have intermittent episodes of explosive diarrhea (to the point of incontinence) over the years, most often associated with drinking a glass of wine or having a margarita (though other times I can have those same liquid refreshments with no side effects). For a while I thought the diarrhea was associated with some type of food preservatives because I never experience diarrhea when I eat at home, only about 2 hours after eating (or having a drink) in a restaurant. If there's no gall bladder to store the bile in, can this problem be helped by the same medications?
