I have a pain in my lower portion of my bellybutton, i cant explain but it hurt, what can it be?

It could be a umbilical hernia. I have had two in my life and they both caused belly-button pain.

do you have any other symptoms like a fever or nausea? sometimes the pain of appendicitis can start out around the bellybutton.
